Artist Statement
For me, dolls are not just objects; they are a part of the artist’s soul. I believe they should carry a touch of magic, a fleeting sparkle, and take you back to childhood. They should, in some way, resemble illustrations from a children’s book.

I have been professionally creating dolls for over 20 years. I began making dolls as a child, but when my daughter was born, I started creating dolls professionally, both for her and for my first clients. For me, dolls have always been a part of me.

In 2019, I was the Creative Director for the Waldorf doll manufacturer Ciao Bimba, where I created their doll collections. I have exhibited at the ‘RomantikerHaus’ Museum, Jena, Germany, and the ‘Etar’ Museum, Bulgaria.
My work has been published in the International Textilkunst – an art magazine that has been on the German market for over 50 years, June 2024 American edition: The International Doll Artists Magazine, April 2024 Magazine “Roden Glas” 4/2021 – Czech Republic Magazine “I Want a Baby”, issue 13 Magazine “Ideal Home Decor”, March 2011 Magazine “For the Woman”, April 2011 Magazine “Revista – Atelierul”, Romania, March 2023
