Revolution
This Art doll is inspired by the great women revolutionaries including Petra Herrera, Kathleen Cleaver, Nora Astorga, Celia Sánchez, Sophia Magdalena Scholl, Constance Markievicz, and Nwanyeruwa. Women who took up arms to defend the rights of others.

Materials: Polymer clay painted with heat set oil paint. Hand dyed, spun, knit and felted beret. Mohair, Hand-made camouflage fabric, dyed linen pants and gaiters, leather boots. Re painted Miniature 1903 Springfield rifle with Bayonet

Topsy Turvy
Topsy is a suffragette with her apron print with slogans dating as far back as the roman empire, determined but hopeful for the future. The wood knob is turned to reveal Turvy. Turvy is the Modern women, apron printed with slogan from current history. Determined and Angry that  we are protesting……..again.
