The 2015 Transformed Tonner Project, an online charitable fundraiser, is a collaborative effort between The National Institute of American Doll Artists (NIADA) and renowned doll artist Robert Tonner, founder of the Robert Tonner Doll Company. Robert Tonner issued a challenge to 34 NIADA Artists with a new Transformed Tonner project. He posed this challenge:
Artistic signature style—what is it? and how can you achieve it?
The resulting dolls, up for auction on ebay are a wonderful example of how an artist’s signature aesthetic can translate through any medium. All funds raised will be donated to the NIADA scholarship fund, which helps visiting artists to attend NIADA conferences and helps NIADA artists to contribute to furthering the art of the doll.
The Dolls will be Auctioned in groups of five each week on ebay - Available now!. Check out our ebay site for the latest dolls - http://www.ebay.com/usr/niadaartists
