I am a dollmaker for 30 years to date, and still not done! I am always looking for new experiences to become a better artist and to be able to make more interesting dolls. It's a never ending story!
My medium is porcelain and sometimes I use paper clay for shoes, props, or small dolls. I believe that costuming is my specialty. I love to 'think out of the box'. I like to use unusual materials on my dolls such as special vintage trims and fabrics. My dolls have a human expression with a touch of humor. So they look like they do come from another world. I only make one-of-a-kind dolls because I want to use my imagination and create fantasy in every new doll I make.
My goal is to make dolls that 'stay in the memory'.
