Description: Victorian lady looks over her shoulder with a mysterious gaze. In her enormous hat, a man drives a carriage pulled by horses. She is dressed in brown vintage taffeta dress with long-sleeves and a bustle.

Marking on the doll: : signed and dated along the back of the neck

Medium: Paperclay painted with oil paint and mixed media

Size: 22 inches

History: This doll was shown once at the Muscatine Art Museum in 2004 in Muscatine, Iowa. Nancy Wiley then took some time off from dollmaking for a few years and the piece was not shown again. this photograph of the doll was chosen to be on the NIADA poster in 2008 and is now available for sale to support this wonderful organization
